My Tiny Model

When I found out I was pregnant, I got really excited about having my own little newborn model.  I planned on photoshoots with her several times during those first ten days when she's really "newborn".  I had all kind of ideas that I wanted to experiment with.

Wow. Was I unrealistic.  I was so tired those first ten days that instead of arranging her into funky newborn poses all I wanted to do was hold my sleeping little bundle of joy (or sleep myself).

I did manage to take these few shots when Anya was exactly one week old.  (Thanks to my friend Courtney for her company and assistance during this shoot).
