I wrote this post almost three weeks ago... so it's a little outdated. But she's so cute that I had to share.
Anya is 6 months old! I can't imagine our family without her. At the same time, I can't believe that I have KIDS! So crazy.
For me to remember:
- You started eating baby cereal and bananas this last week. You enjoy both! Really, much more excited about the banana than the rice cereal (which I mix with water), but hey, I don't blame you.
- You still wake up at least 3-4 times per night. I feed you half of those times and lately your dad has been going in to help you get back to sleep the other half of the times.
- You can sit up pretty well, but still fall over when you get too excited about playing with your feet.
- You pinch. Oh you can pinch. You especially like to grab the skin on my neck and pinch it while pulling on it. Ouch.
- You still don't really care to roll over. You roll to your side, but then fall back to your original position.
- You absolutely love your brother. When you're upset and he starts paying attention to you, you get really happy and forget whatever it was that was bothering you.
- You nap twice. Once about two hours after you wake up (for an hour or so) and then again around 1pm (same time as Lucas -- it's nice for mama).
- You are getting really good at grabbing things within your reach. You can grab your pacifier and put it into your mouth.
- No sign of teeth yet, but you drool a lot.
- When you are in your bouncer, you REALLY bounce yourself.
- You are 17lbs 3oz.
- You are so sweet, but also showing some personality. If you drop a toy or someone set you down when you'd rather be held, you let out the most heart-wrenching, dramatic cry. This is already making me nervous about the drama to come.

oh my heavens, this is one ADORABLE little girl. heart breaker!
You have produced yet another stunning child. And I love the nostalgia of this post.
Was Lucas as chunky as Anya? You know I LOVE a chunky baby. I can't tell if she reminds me of Zach or you. Guess that makes her a good mix.
I need to see her ASAP!!!
I really like this. It makes me want to try to better record things about RosalĂa's life. It has been hard to write about her to the extent that I wanted to since she was born.
I love the blog by the way. Interesting and thoughtful. :-)
