About Me

I don't know what anyone would want to know about me.  I grew up in Ukraine and was lucky to live through ukrainian independence from Soviet Russia.  I think that had a greater influence on me than one might expect.  I am married to the perfect-for-me guy and we have two adorable, entertaining children.  I still can't believe how much I love them.  I have a couple of biology degrees and teach cell biology at Portland Community College.   I love taking photographs, especially of people.  I hope to one day organize our family's photos into nice books that tell our story.  I love cooking, nutritious meals, cloth diapering, environmental practices, and open-minded people.
